Prime Minister Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin announced that the
Conditional Movement Control Order (CMCO) will end in June 9 and will be
replaced with Recovery Movement Control Order (RMCO). The RMCO will take affect
from 10 June until Aug 31 with more lenient restrictions. Interstate travel
will be permitted and people are advise to practice proper hygiene. However,
International travel is still not permitted as the country’s borders remain
shut during the new RMCO. Domestic tourism is encouraged. Almost all social,
religious, business and educational activites are allowed to resume in stages
under strict SOP.
