After 73 days since the first MCO being forced, the number of new cases of the
coronavirus had reduced successfully. Health director-general Datuk Dr Noor
Hisham Abdullah said that since the implementation of the Conditional Movement
Control Order (CMCO) since May 4, the infectivity rate or R-Naught (RO) had
decreased from 0.6 during the MCO period to 0.3. If the number of new cases
maintained at two digits or one figure, the CMCO will probably ended on 9 June.
No death due to covid-19 was recorded for seven consecutive days and remained at
115 cases.
